L’ECOLE NO.41 TASTING ROOM

WOODINVILLE, WA - When the iconic Walla Walla winery made the decision to venture outside of Eastern Washington with a tasting room in Woodinville, the challenge from a design perspective was going to be finding ways to maintain the integrity of their classic schoolhouse brand while creating a space that felt authentic and appropriate in an urban setting. To accomplish this BOXWOOD drew on prototypical schoolhouse elements, like the cubby shelf and library ladder, as a way of reinterpreting their historic schoolhouse motif for a contemporary environment.
